Drug discovery and development is usually conducted in a sequential manner, starting with the Discovery and succeeded by the Preclinical, Clinical, and Non-Clinical phases of drug development. Der Pharma Chemica Journal deals with the diverse scope of the medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and so on. The Journal office has been planning to release the special issue entitled “Formulation and synthesis of Novel anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-infective drugs” tentatively by the 1st week of March, 2021. The journal aims to provide the scientific community with the novel and required information regarding the technologies used, parameters considered, specimens analysed, etc. for the future drug discoveries by publishing this special issue.
It is a high time for the pharmaceutical industries to concentrate on the formulation and synthesis of new drugs for combating the emerging chronic Infectious, microbial and viral diseases, as the pandemic is resulting to be the major concern worldwide.
