Der Pharma Chemica publishes all its articles in full open access format which are easily accessible for scientific community. Researchers have free and unlimited access to the full-text of articles published in Scholars Research Library Journals i.e Readers can access the published articles freely without login and password. It gives the author’s research high visibility, availability and more citations.
I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 11 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. DPC also brought out an online special issue in 2019. Der Pharma Chemica A is peer-reviewed and is published in electronic version. The language of the Der Pharma Chemica is English. Der Pharma Chemica publishes research and review articles, rapid and short communication and book reviews. The current emphasis of the journal includes (but is not limited to) the following areas: medicinal chemistry,pharmaceutical chemistry and computational chemistry.
During the calendar year 2019, DPC received a total of 150 papers, out of which 104 articles (90%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format. During 2019 around 46 articles were subjected to the peer-review process and 36 of those were accepted. In the 6 issues of Volume 11 published during the year 2019, a total of 36 articles were published (at an average of 6 articles per issue) of which, 50 % articles were by foreign authors. A total of 236 research scientists from India and abroad reviewed the 144 articles published in volume 11. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 6-8 months.
I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Dr Hsu-Shan Huang during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, Mr Ho Soon Min in bringing out issues of DPC in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of DPC, the office bearers and staff of IPA secretariat for their support in bringing out yet another volume of DPC and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 11 of DPC in scheduled time
