Background: Cancer is the world's leading cause of death today. Cancer patients' outcomes have significantly improved as surgery, radiotherapy and pharmaceuticals have advanced. Natural remedies have recently been shown to be beneficial for an extensive list of ailments and they have played an important role in the development of new therapies.
