Synthesis and Anti-microbial Evaluation of Some Novel Bridged Benzofuran and 1,2,3-Triazole Based Analogues

A new series of substituted 1-(2-((1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy)-5-((2-benzoyl-3-methylbenzofuran-5-yl)methyl)phenyl)ethanonederivatives were synthesized by copper(I) catalyzed azide-alkyne cyclo-addition (CuAAC) reaction. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy. The representative analogues were screened in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activity.
