Trimethyl Phosphate Mediated Synthesis of Benzothiazepine Derivatives

By using standard techniques to condense substituted chalcones with 3, 4, 5-trimethoxybenzaldehyde in the presence of trimethyl phoshate, a number of new 1, 5-benzothiazepine derivatives were created.
