Abstract
Synthesis of Novel Chromenes as Cytotoxic Agents
Author(s): Manal M. Kandeel, Aliaa. M. Kamal, Eman K. A. Abdelall and Heba A. H. ElshemyNovel substituted chromenes, chromenopyrimidine derivatives and chromenotriazolo-pyrimidines were synthesized. Several compounds were evaluated for their antitumor activity, most of them revealed promising cytotoxic activity against breast cancer cell line MCF-7 in comparison to colchicine as positive control.
