Synthesis of ethyl [(1, 3-benzothiazol-2-yl) sulfanyl] acetate derivatives by greener techniques

ChowdharyA series of various benzothiazole derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of chloroethylacetate with substituted benzothiazole under conventional, Ultrasound irradiation and microwave irradiation conditions, purified by recrystallisation and the structure of all the compounds have been confirmed by IR, NMR and Mass spectral data.
