Abstract
Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Screening of some novel heterocyclic compounds
Author(s): Arihant. R. Shah, Harish. R. Dabhi and Arjunshin. K. RanaNew Benzodizepine derivative was prepared by reaction of chalcone with 5-bromo o-phenylenediamine in presence of pyridine. First Chalcones were prepared by treatment of 4-acetyl-5-methyl-2-(4-methylphenyl)-2,4-dihydro-3Hpyrazol- 3-one with different substituted aldehyde by claisen-schimidt condensation. The structures of the newly synthesized Benzodiazepine derivatives have characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, Mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activities.
