Abstract
Synthesis and antimicrobial evaluation of aminophenylthiazole derivatives

MohantyA new series of 2-aminophenylthiazole derivatives was synthesized and structures were confirmed on the basis of IR, 1H-NMR spectroscopic data. The compounds (P1-6) were screened for antimicrobial activity in vitro by Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method and compounds P2 and P3 have shown promising activity.
