Abstract
Phytochemical investigation of Ruelia patula, Luffa cylindrica and Llephantopus scaber

EswarapriyaThe phytochemical studies on the plant of Ruelia patula, Luffa cylindrica and Elephantopus scaber resulted in isolation of 7-hydroxy 1 methyl coumarin, Stigmasterol, Stigmasterol- 6- en- 3 beta –ol, Campesterol, Dicoumarals, CU I, CUII, CUIII, Lupeol acetate, Triacontanol and Molephantinon are being reported for the first time from this plant. These compounds have been characterized on the basis of spectral and other data.
