Author(s): Madhav J Hebade, Ravindra P Shimpi and Omprakash S Chavan*Solvent free synthesis of substituted Coumarin by Von Pechmann condensation of phenols with β-ketoesters catalyzed by fly ash as a byproduct from thermal power station by microwave irradiation method. Our present protocol is economical and clean comprise of green reagent, solvent and catalyst.
