Abstract
Effective visible light photocatalytic degradation of Brilliant green using H2O2 sensitized BiVO4
Author(s): A. M. Umabala, P. Suresh and A. V. Prasada RaoPhotocatalytic degradation of Brilliant green is studied over monoclinic BiVO4 in presence of H2O2 under visible light irradiation. Experimental results indicate a synergetic effect between BiVO4 and H2O2 in generating more ����OH free radicals which are responsible for the degradation of dye molecular structure. Complete degradation was achieved for 90min of irradiation.
