The leaves extract of Eucalyptus camaldulensis (aqueous, alcoholic and oils) were studied as antileishmanial inhibition on Leishmania major promastigotes form. Oils were more active against promastigotes than aqueous and alcoholic extract, thus, the LD50 for oils, alcoholic and aqueous extract was (0.602, 3.630 and 4.786) mg/ml respectively. Oils and alcoholic extract were used by topical application for treated BALB/c mice experimentally infected with L. major, on the footpad thickness and mice tail base ulcers.
