Chromatographic Behavior of Metal Cations on Addition of Various Additives in Aq. BAC Mobile Phase

PaliwalA TLC method has been developed for the separation of various metal ions on silica gel layers with mixed organic solvents containing cationic surfactant BAC. The separation of various metal ions, under a range of different concentration of various additives was examined. Cd2+, Zn2+, Co2+, and Cu2+ were successfully separated from binary mixture.
