Abstract
Antimicrobial testing of the extracts of Samanea saman (Jacq.)Merr
Author(s): P. Arulpriya, P. Lalitha and S. HemalathaThe plant extracts of Samanea saman (Jacq.)Merr and its fractionated portions were examined for their antibacterial and antifungal activity. Two bacteria- Escherichia Coli, staphylococcus aureus and two fungi Aspergillus flavus, Candida albicans were used for the studies. The extracts were found to exhibit appreciable antimicrobial activity.
