A Sterol from Auriculariaauricula-judae

De Castro And Chien-Chang ShenSilica gel chromatography of the dichloromethane extract of the fruiting bodies of Auriculariaauricula-judaeled to the isolation of ergosterol peroxide (1). The structure of 1 was elucidated by extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and confirmed by comparison of its 1H and 13CNMR data with literature data.
