A facile synthesis, characterization of N-substituted 7-methoxy-3-phenyl-4-(3-piperizin-1-yl-propaxy) chromen-2-one
Author(s): Devender Mandala, Sravanthi Chada, Umapathi Nalla, Jalapathi PochampalliA series of novel N-substituted 7-methoxy-3-phenyl-4-(3-piperizin-1-yl-propaxy) chromen-2-one compounds have been synthesized by reacting 7-methoxy-3-phenyl-4-(3- piperizin-1-yl-propaxy) chromen-2-one with various substituted halo compounds in the presence of triethylamine/dichloromethane. The newly synthesized compounds were purified and their structures were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR and Mass spectroscopy.
