Spectroscopic studies on the molecular association of Pt(NO2-acac)2 with heterocyclic N-bases

ABSTRACT
Studies on charge transfer complexes of group VIII metal acetylacetates with hetrocyclic N-bases has been carried out using infrared and proton magnetic resonance analysis. Due to complexation, the effect of stretching frequency of Pt (NO2-acac) 2, have been studied and discussed for the site of interaction and tentative structure for these molecular complexes.
