Synthesis and antibacterial evaluation of some new 1,3-benzoxazines

ABSTRACT
New 2-[(substituted phenyl imino)-methyl]-4,6-diiodo phenols, 2[(substituted phenyl amino)-methyl]-4,6-diiodo phenols and 6,8-diiodo-3-(substituted phenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benz-[e]-[1,3]-oxazine were synthesized. Synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial activity.
