Studies on synthesis and antimicrobial activity of 2-amino-1-cyanobenzopyrano[4,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives.
ABSTRACT
The behavior of 2-amino-4[H],5[H]3,4-dihyro[1] benzopyrano [4,3]pyrimidin-4,5-dione-1-carbonitrile(1) towards some nucleophilic and electrophilic reagents has been described with the aim of preparing some poly functionally fused heterocyclic compounds. All these compounds were characterized by means of their IR, HNMR, Mass spectroscopic data and microanalysis, and were evaluated by the Cup plate method.
